1. Definition of cookies

Cookies are fragments of data stored on your computer and used to improve your browsing experience.
Cookies allow the website to remember your actions and settings (such as login details, preferred language, font size, other display settings, etc.) so that you do not have to re-enter them each time you visit the website.
Some cookies are automatically stored on the browsing device, as they are necessary to ensure the proper functioning of the website (technical cookies).
All other types of cookies require the user's explicit consent. These may contain information about the user, their settings and their device, and may be used to ensure that the website functions as expected by the user and to personalise the user's browsing experience.
The user is not directly identified based on the information stored in cookies.

2. Technical cookies

Necessary to ensure the proper functioning of the website. According to current Italian legislation, the user's express consent is not required for their use, because they are used solely for the purpose of transmitting a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the user.

Among the technical cookies (strictly necessary), the Data Protection Authority also includes:

  • navigation or session cookies (for authentication, to make a purchase, etc.);

  • functionality cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a series of selected criteria (e.g. language, products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service provided to the user.

These cookies cannot be disabled.

It is still possible to change your browser settings to block their use. However, in this case, we would not be able to guarantee the proper functioning of our website.

If you would like to know how your browser stores cookies while you are browsing, please follow these links to the websites of the respective providers.

If users choose not to allow the use of these cookies, it is not possible to identify the web pages visited by the user or determine the performance of the website during the visit.

4. Profiling and marketing cookies

Profiling and marketing cookies are designed to deliver advertising messages while browsing the web.

These cookies are installed directly by the data controller or by third parties (e.g. partners and suppliers) in order to create an anonymous profile containing the interests of a user and to show that user information or advertising in line with their interests on other websites. These cookies do not store any information that directly identifies the user, but are based on the unique ID provided by the browser and device.

Data relating to browsing carried out after authentication will not be cross-referenced.
Retargeting may be active on this site through the LinkedIn pixel and Google Tag Manager. Thanks to these technologies, advertising content on Facebook, LinkedIn and Google is consistent with the interests that the user has shown while browsing the site.

5. Other types of cookies

Unclassified cookies are cookies that do not belong to any other category or are in the process of being categorised.
If users choose not to allow the use of these cookies, it is not possible to activate the features associated with this type of cookie.

6. Rights of data subjects

Each user, as a data subject, can decide whether or not to authorise the use of certain types of cookies.
It is still possible to change your browser settings to block the use of these cookies by deleting the cookies themselves.
